Responsibilities

  • Secure and monitor work placements for students in varied vocational areas.
  • Act as main point of contact for employer relations.
  • Plan and implement employer events and organise employer visits for students.
  • Ensure employers return required documentation timely in line with college guidelines and national expectations.
  • Work with students one‑to‑one or in small groups to identify employability skill gaps and support development for successful industry placement.
Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise work and respond flexibly to demands.
  • Inquisitive, analytical, detail‑oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant Art, Media or Design subject desirable, or experience working in the sector with willingness to obtain such qualification.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary per year: £18,845 (inclusive of holiday pay). Working pattern: flexible across Mon‑Fri.
