For many of our pupils, English is their second or third language so an understanding of language development for EAL pupils and cultural diversity would be of benefit, but in no way essential. We also serve a large Service community, so mobility is high.
The post is offered on a fixed term basis for from September 2026 to August 2027 with the possibility of this being extended.
We encourage you to visit the school before you apply so you can get a feel for our very special ethos and meet us all.
If this sounds like a job you would enjoy, please come and visit and find out a little bit more about us. We look forward to meeting you.
Guston Church of England Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff are expected to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to follow the relevant safeguarding procedures, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE) guidance, and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
We encourage early applications and reserve the right to close this vacancy early if a suitable candidate is found.
