must hold uk qualified teacher status (qts) and have experience teaching mathematics in a uk secondary school. Applications without qts will not be considered.

as a secondary maths teacher, you will:

• plan and deliver engaging maths lessons to students across key stages 3 and 4 (key stage 5 experience is desirable).
• differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners of all abilities.
• monitor, assess, and track student progress to ensure positive outcomes.
• create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• work collaboratively with the maths department and wider school team.
• contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.

• hold uk qualified teacher status (qts) – essential.
• have experience teaching mathematics in a uk secondary school – essential.
• demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
• have high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
• be committed to delivering engaging and innovative lessons.
• hold an enhanced dbs on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
