About The Role
Our Care Assistants support 9 adults with learning disabilities conditions in a care home environment and work on a shift pattern. Responsibilities include supporting Daily living skill development, personal care, and working with some behaviours which may present as challenging.
Location & FacilityAshingham House is a large detached property situated in the picturesque village of Temple Ewell which is close to the coastal port of Dover. The home offers a service to adults who have been identified as having learning difficulties and may also have behaviours that challenge. The home provides twenty‑four‑hour staff support, and activities are available and planned to take into account each individual's likes and dislikes as well as their level of abilities.
WorkingHours & Schedule
Full‑time role on a 37.5 hours per week contract with the opportunity of overtime although this is not mandatory. We ask that you work weekends, but not all weekends, ensuring our service users always have the support required.
