Support Worker

£20,010.00 per annum, working 26 hours per week.

• 2 x 13 hour shifts per week, including weekends and bank holidays
• Available for Friday team meetings

• Build supportive, trusting relationships with customers and create a positive atmosphere
• Work proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
• Conduct key work sessions as required, that are innovative and engaging to achieve individual goals
• Ensure ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers in an attitude of positive risk taking
• Provide support with daily living activities, including practical assistance to support customers to independent living (e.g., budgeting, cooking, establishing a night time routine)
• Support customers to maintain a healthy environment and, where appropriate, assist them to clean their accommodation and maintain good personal hygiene
• Assist in the recording and reporting of customer incidents
• Manage customer referrals, complete assessments and obtain and maintain all relevant paperwork

Essential
:

• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent with some work experience

:

• Experience working in a mental health setting or service
