What you will do:

Manage a complex caseload involving Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection Plans, and safeguarding interventions.

Undertake assessments, interventions, and reviews in accordance with statutory guidance and local authority procedures.

Manage both private and public law cases, including court-related work and the preparation of high-quality assessments and reports.

Ensure children and young people’s wishes and feelings remain central to all assessment, planning, and decision-making processes.

Develop, implement, and review child-centred plans that promote safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.

Conduct direct work, home visits, and meetings with children, young people, and families.

Work collaboratively with partner agencies, including education, health, police, and legal professionals, to provide coordinated support.

Attend and contribute to Child Protection Conferences, Core Group Meetings, legal planning meetings, and other statutory forums.

Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely case recordings in accordance with professional standards and statutory requirements.

Support less experienced colleagues and contribute to a culture of learning and best practice across the team.
