Your RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Administrative Assistant to work part-time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment located in our DOVER, DE office. In this position, you will work independently to coordinate, maintain, and manage general office duties to achieve maximum efficiency of daily operations. Superior time management and organizational skills, accompanied by the willingness to adapt and learn, are imperative for success.
Some of your duties may include but are not limited to: managing the receptionist desk, submitting and monitoring A/P and credit card purchases, timesheet entry, submitting purchase order requests, preparation of accounts receivable billing to our clients, pay applications, monitoring aging report and collection efforts to our clients on a daily basis, support and backup to scheduling, and being the first point of contact for office human resource issues.
- Manage the receptionist desk and front-office operations
- Submit and monitor accounts payable and credit card purchases
- Enter timesheets
- Submit purchase order requests
- Prepare accounts receivable billing to clients
- Process pay applications
- Monitor aging reports and collection efforts daily
- Support and backup scheduling
- Serve as first point of contact for office human resource issues
- 3+ years working in construction administration is highly desired.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Experience prioritizing multiple projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Experience working for a similar organization is highly desired.
Part-time (min 1,000 hours per year) employees are eligible to contribute to 401k with company match and eligible for Employee Stock Ownership.
