Management Analyst II is a statewide position responsible for coordinating and conducting studies to provide technical assistance and recommendations to division components. The role involves interviewing agency staff, gathering and analyzing data on operational and managerial practices, developing solutions, and making recommendations for improving operations and compliance. The incumbent may supervise administrative support and paraprofessional staff and can choose to be housed in one of three counties.
Keyqualifications:
- Six months experience conducting studies evaluating operations, programs, services, and policies for efficiency and effectiveness
- Six months experience in descriptive statistics such as mean, median, mode, or standard deviation
- Six months experience interpreting laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Six months experience in narrative report writing
- Knowledge of designing studies including determining goals, data sources, and collection methods
- Knowledge of inferential statistics such as correlation, t-tests, or analysis of variance
