This work is to be performed at a virtual location in North Carolina or South Carolina that is within a reasonable commute to Charlotte, NC (Duke Energy Plaza) OR Raleigh, NC (Fayetteville St).

The Supply Chain Innovation & Analytics team identifies opportunities, solves complex business challenges, and drives strategic initiatives that create measurable operational and financial value for Duke Energy.

This role provides direct exposure to senior leaders and enterprise-wide initiatives, offering the opportunity to influence strategy, improve business performance, strengthen governance, and help shape the future of how the company delivers operational and financial results.

• Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives from planning through implementation
• Establish governance structures, operating rhythms, reporting processes, and accountability mechanisms
• Coordinate efforts across multiple business units and stakeholder groups
• Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies
• Business Analysis & Opportunity Identification
• Analyze operational, financial, supplier, contract, and business process data to identify opportunities for improvement and value creation
• Support development of business cases, value estimates, performance metrics, and executive reporting
• Track and report realized operational and financial benefits
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, issue logs, risk registers, and executive dashboards
• Monitor initiative performance against established objectives and timelines
• Provide transparency into progress, risks, decisions, and required actions
• Build strong partnerships across business functions and leadership teams
• Support communication and change management activities necessary to support adoption and execution
• Influence decisions through collaboration, problem-solving, and data-driven recommendations
• Help teams navigate change while maintaining focus on strategic objectives

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 years related work experience
• In lieu of Bachelor's degree(s) AND 5 year(s) related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND 9 year(s) related work experience
• Master's degree in business administration, Project Management, Supply Chain, Analytics, Finance, or related field
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Five or more years of experience leading projects, programs, business initiatives, or operational improvement efforts
• Experience working with data to identify insights and support business decisions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Experience leading governance, compliance, transformation, or value-realization programs
• Experience working with procurement, sourcing, supplier, contract, financial, or operational data
• Experience developing executive-level reporting and presentations
• Experience with continuous improvement, Lean, or business transformation initiatives
