Construction Superintendent

Dobco, Inc. is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team and oversee day-to-day field operations on a $50 million ground-up school project at Dover Air Force Base
.

The Superintendent will work closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure the project is built safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to plans and specifications.

• Oversee daily construction activities and field operations.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades on-site.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure work stays on track.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, deliveries, and site logistics.
• Conduct daily subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Review plans, drawings, and specifications and identify potential issues.
• Monitor quality of work and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate inspections and testing.
• Enforce jobsite safety requirements and OSHA standards.
• Identify and resolve field issues and conflicts.
• Communicate regularly with the Project Manager and project team.
• Track subcontractor progress and hold trades accountable for schedule and quality.
• Maintain daily reports and other required project documentation.
• Assist with punch list, closeout, and project turnover.

• 5+ years of commercial, institutional, educational, or government construction experience.
• Previous experience as a Superintendent on projects of $20M+ preferred.
• Ground-up construction experience strongly preferred.
• School, higher education, government, military, or other institutional construction experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling.
