Solomon Edwards is looking for a Customer Experience Specialist I for one of its mortgage clients to operate in a call center environment supporting consumer direct lending. You will act as the primary consumer contact to guide a consumer through the loan origination process after the licensed discussion with a loan officer.

Essential Duties

• Operate in a call center environment as a customer success advocate.
• Answer high-volume, inbound calls or texts from current customers promptly.
• Perform routine data entry and validation tasks.
• Handle routine calls, emails, and/or chat responses with internal employees, consumers, and/or authorized 3rd parties.
• Interact with multiple departments to expedite processing and/or issue resolution.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
• Demonstrate behaviors that are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values.

• Mortgage and/or financial services call center experience is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• General understanding of applicable Federal, State, and Local Mortgage Regulations a plus.

• Capable communicator (written and oral).
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to effectively resolve problems.
• Demonstrated proficiency with computers and mainstream computer applications (Microsoft, Google, etc.).

No travel will be required, unless at the client s discretion.

The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to, education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $20-24.
