  - 4 Day weekend schedule - Friday-Monday would work best

    - 24 hour call
Clinical Details
- Specialty:
  Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery APP
- EMR: EPIC
- Primarily Inpatient
- Call: 1-2 weekday calls/week and 1 in 3 weekends
- Support Staff:
  Surgeons, fellow APCs, nursing
- Responsibilities: CVSICU post-op patient resuscitation, nursing and patient calls from home, weekend inpatient rounding, responding to stat consults/change in clinical status, emergent OR cases
- Procedures:
  Chest Tube Placement, Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) Capable, Cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, CVSICU, floor management, inpatient consults, outpatient office coverage
- Patient Encounters per Shift: 10-20
- 60 day credentialing
Requirements
- Certifications:
  
  ACLS/BLS
- Vaccination:
  Influenza vaccine may be declined if practitioner wears mask per health system policy
- Licensure: will take IMLC candidates, Standard licensing candidates, and Active License
  - will look at candidates who need a license
- No less than a 3 month commitment, preferably 6 months
- Providers must have experience with chest tube placement and skilled in open and endoscopic vein harvest
  - Prefer open radial artery harvest
- Must be available full time and able to take call
