. W. Reily Brown Elementary School serves grades 1‑5 with approximately 500 students.
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and / or certification for School Principal and Assistant School Principal
- Successful experience as a classroom teacher for at least 5 years; elementary school experience strongly preferred
- Successful teaching or school leadership experience preferred
- Eligibility for DE certification as School Principal and Assistant School Principal
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of effective strategies for improvement of student learning and achievement
- Proven ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and community
- An ability to facilitate change for continued student improvement and staff development
- Commitment to high academic standards
