Design Engineer – Site Development DepartmentWallace Montgomery is searching for a Design Engineer to join our Site Development Department in our Delaware offices.
Responsibilities- Prepare engineering design, studies and reports.
- Determine / reviews appropriate application of technical methods of the work and verify compliance with criteria.
- Participate / Reviews the development of engineering design details, specifications, contract drawings and estimates.
- Prepare construction contract documents including final design details, construction drawings, specifications and estimates.
- Participate in presentations such as public meetings.
- Monitor current design trends/methodologies related to their area of expertise.
- Assist in training new employees in using CADD software.
- Client contact on a limited basis.
- Field work as team member for inspections and research for projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Degree
- Professional Engineer Registration
- 5-10 years Design Experience
