This Casual/Seasonal position with the State of Delaware's Insurance Coverage Office involves preparing, submitting, and tracking short-term disability over payments. The C/S Fiscal Advisor II researches and calculates overpaid wages, maintains spreadsheets, and provides guidance and training to HR, Benefits, and Payroll representatives on over payment matters. The role also includes analyzing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with budgets and regulations, reconciling accounting records, and preparing financial reports.
Keyqualifications:
- One year of experience compiling, analyzing, and reporting on financial data for accounting or financial planning
- One year of experience ensuring compliance of financial transactions with budgets, agreements, grants, contracts, and state/federal laws and regulations
- Six months' experience researching and analyzing accounting transactions to reconcile discrepancies and maintain audit trails
- Coursework, training, or work experience in staff supervision or lead worker responsibilities
