This position conducts financial analysis and examination of insurance companies operating in Delaware, reviewing financial statements, SEC filings, audit reports, and inter-company arrangements to identify solvency issues and regulatory violations. The role requires first-line supervision and the highest level of technical expertise, with duties including analyzing financial ratios, researching transactions, and providing testimony in legal proceedings.
Key qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
- Accredited Financial Examiners (AFE) certificate
- Three years' experience in financial analysis of insurance companies
- Three years' experience in interpreting and analyzing financial reports
- Three years' experience in recognizing deficiencies in accounting procedures and management controls
- Coursework, training and/or work experience in staff supervision
