The Public Service Commission seeks a Planner I to help shape Delaware's energy future by implementing legislation, analyzing regional energy markets, processing applications, developing energy policy, and conducting research. This in-office, career-ladder position involves representing the Commission at meetings, preparing reports and recommendations, and coordinating planning activities across state and regional levels.
Key qualifications- Knowledge of planning theories, concepts, principles, practices and procedures
- Knowledge of problem formulation, research design, implementation and analysis
- Knowledge of analytical and evaluative modes
- Ability to analyze and assess data and issues impacting programs and plans
- Ability to develop recommended courses of action for public and private decisions through formal plans and policies
