General SummaryA licensed Pharmacist responsible for assuring Pharmacy is providing the highest standards pertaining to patient and staff safety. Assuring the Pharmacy is compliant with all Joint Commission and other Federal and State regulatory agencies overseeing Bayhealth. Incumbent is responsible for investigating all Safety First Reports and responding appropriately.

Licensed Pharmacist - Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Hospital Pharmacy. - Preferred: 8 years of experience in an acute hospital setting with managerial experience. Comprehensive knowledge of current standards and regulations disseminated by The Joint Commission, Delaware State Board of Pharmacy, FDA, USP /, and ASHP as they relate to medication safety and departmental and organizational regulatory compliance. Knowledge of pharmacy operations, personnel management, and budgets.
