Title:

Project Manager 1 (Short Term assignment until 12/31/25)

Location:

Remote with minimal onsite consultation with stakeholders (in Delaware) as needed. Interviews: 7/24 and 7/25.

Role focus:
Serve as the project manager for the Delaware Division of Public Health (DPH) Health Systems Protection (HSP) section's IT Modernization Drinking Water Project. This includes learning HSP business needs, current and target IT data systems, and data mapping/integration needs.

• Oversee and manage a subcontracted vendor performing database upgrades for IT modernization.
• Plan, analyze, design, construct, test, and implement project deliverables.
• Ensure delivery of all work tasks identified in the program plan.
• Capture and report required program management metrics.
• Ensure changes to scope follow approved processes and are documented.
• Obtain client approval for new estimates and revise estimates when necessary.
• Manage and track program progress against the program plan.
• Monitor milestones and phases to keep the project on schedule; take corrective actions if needed.
• Prepare periodic status reports for the program team, team leads, group leads, program manager, and stakeholders.
• Plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple work efforts across application teams.
• Develop the detailed program plan for enhancements or development efforts.
• Conduct final program management evaluation reviews with stakeholders for approval upon completion.
• Tailor and baseline all program templates.
• Schedule or monitor status reviews, peer reviews, program management inspections, and software quality assurance work products and process reviews with designated resources.
