The Loop Roots Foundation is a nonprofit, tax‑exempt organization dedicated to supporting justice‑impacted families through transportation, therapy, and technology‑driven programs. Our mission is to remove the physical, financial, and emotional barriers that prevent families from maintaining meaningful connections with incarcerated loved ones, accessing mental health care, or navigating reentry. Founded in 2025, the Foundation operates nationally, with an initial focus on underserved communities in Maryland, Arizona, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, California, and Virginia.
Role OverviewWe’re seeking a detail‑oriented and mission‑driven Program Operations Manager (Volunteer) to help coordinate our seven program areas:

- Coordinate with program leads, designers, and volunteers to keep timelines and deliverables on schedule.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Zoho Work Drive and update status dashboards.
- Schedule meetings, record notes, and distribute summaries for ongoing projects.
- Support the Founder and Program Coordinators with reports, data entry, and impact tracking.
- Communicate with community partners and assist with outreach documentation.
- Help streamline internal processes and build operational efficiency.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with project management or CRM tools (Zoho, Asana, or Trello preferred).
- Interest in community development, social impact, or nonprofit work.
- Comfortable collaborating remotely across time zones.
- Self‑motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with guidance.
- 20–25 hours per week (flexible schedule).
- Minimum 3‑month commitment preferred, with the option to extend or take on more leadership responsibility.
- Hands‑on experience in nonprofit operations and program coordination.
- Professional references and letters of recommendation upon successful completion.
- Mentorship and collaboration directly with the Founder and leadership team.
- The chance to make a tangible impact on families and communities nationwide.
