Certified Nursing Assistants work side by side with our nursing staff, everyday making a difference for our patients.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assist in admission, discharge or transfer of residents.
- Take and record weights and vital signs as assigned.
- Assist residents in maintaining all activities of daily living (personal hygiene, bathing, oral care, foot & nail care, skin care, dressing, range of motion, toileting, transfers, appointments, etc.)
- Pass meal trays and assist residents as needed with meals, feed if required, as well as ice water as assigned.
- Escort residents to meals, activities, and appointments as necessary.
- Answer call bells in a timely manner and safety rounds, as required.
- Keep resident’s room(s) and service areas clean, orderly and safe.
- Distribute and change linens as needed.
- Communicate change in resident condition to licensed staff.
- Complete documentation in the Electronic Health Record along with other related documentation.
- Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess State C.N.A. certification.
- At least 6 months previous experience in a CNA is desired but not required.
