Nurse Managers are responsible for the management of defined areas of nursing service, allocating resources to promote efficient, safe, and high‑quality care.

• Demonstrate competency in the ANA Nurse Administrator Standards of Practice.
• Achieve patient satisfaction and quality measurement goals.
• Display nursing leadership through role modeling, core value reinforcement, and innovation.
• Perform all other duties as assigned within scope.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (accept Bachelor’s in another discipline if holding an MSN).
• Credential(s):
  Registered Nurse;
  Basic Life Support; other relevant certifications.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum three years of nursing experience, with prior leadership roles such as preceptor or clinical coordinator.

• Education:
  
  Master’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or Health Administration.
• Credential(s):
  Nurse Executive – Board Certified, Nurse Executive Advanced – Board Certified, Certified Nurse Manager and Leader.
• Experience:
  
  Prior Manager of Operating Room experience preferred.
