Salary Range: $36.17 – $56.06 per hour

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit, committed to quality and safety. Nursing practices require specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill performed according to hospital policy, procedures, and nursing philosophy.

• Provide direct, professional nursing care to a specified population of patients in the acute care setting.
• Develop a patient‑centered plan of care based on individualized needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of the patient medical record.
• Counsel and educate patients and their care partners on treatment plans.
• Administer medication following the five rights of medication administration.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes, as applicable.
• Read and interpret patient information, making treatment decisions when appropriate.
• Consult with physicians to determine the best treatment decisions when appropriate.
• Perform nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Observe and record patient behavior and response to nursing interventions.
• Demonstrate quality, safe, and effective patient care.
• Delegate to unlicensed assistive staff and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) staff.
• Demonstrate standards of excellence, practicing nursing with core values of compassion, accountability, respect, teamwork, and integrity.
• Execute quality and performance improvement plans (only for RN evaluation).
• Participate in decision‑making and take actions based on ethical principles (only for RN evaluation).
• Provide timely and accurate documentation of patient care.
• Perform all other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited nursing program/university with a Diploma or Associate in Nursing.
• Credential(s):
  Registered Nurse (RN);
  Basic Life Support (BLS). ACLS/PALS may be required per manager’s direction and timeframe; commit to seeking specialty certification within the timeframe indicated during interview.
• Experience:
  
  Acute‑care experience strongly preferred (not required).

• Education:
  
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Credential(s):
  Certification related to the position, if applicable.
• Experience:
  
  Experience in relevant specialty, Critical Care.
