Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with an active OH or compact license and recent relevant experience for a night shift assignment.
Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit

• Night shift schedule with 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (7:00 pm – 7:30 am)

• Assignment duration is 13 weeks

• Primary responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and their newborns

• Team-oriented environment with standard orientation and required pre-start modules

• Candidates must pick up badge and complete onsite fingerprints prior to start date

• Assessment in ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate required during orientation, with two attempts allowed

• Nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements

• Assignments may not exceed 18 consecutive months in any Cleveland Clinic location, with a minimum 6 month break before returning

• First-time travelers are eligible for consideration
Requirements

• Active and permanent OH or compact RN license required at time of consideration

• A minimum of 18 months of permanent Labor & Delivery RN experience in the home unit required

• A minimum of 18 months of recent Labor & Delivery experience required

• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

• One supervisory reference in specialty required for consideration

• Negative 10-panel drug and nicotine (cotinine) screen required within 12 months of start

• No license hits or pending certifications allowed

• Candidates must complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing contract

• Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate
