The Role:

Supervisor – Beverage Casino

    Friday & Saturday (may occasionally be closing shifts)
Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily pre‑shift meetings with cocktail servers and bartenders, setting daily expectations to include events, safety concerns, and department goals.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels for casino floor & bars.
  • Maintain all bar par levels, submit liquor requisitions, stock inventory, and assist with special events and banquets.
  • Assist Beverage Manager with monitoring established budget for payroll, sales, liquor, and supplies.
  • Ensure proper training for all new hires and conduct quarterly training for all department employees.
  • Prepare daily server evaluations on cocktail servers and bartenders to ensure speed of service and adherence to alcohol policies.
  • Ensure proper bar displays with current sponsor and/or partner products.
  • Ensure workplace hygiene, occupational health, safety, and security procedures are followed daily.
  • Communicate safe serving of alcohol practices to cocktail servers and bartenders, including over‑serving and terminating service to guests if necessary.
  • Card anyone under the age of 30 for cigarettes and liquor.
  • Be responsible for Beverage Department compliance with all company procedures and policies on assigned shift and attend all company classes and meetings.
  • Update cost transfers and liquor spill sheets weekly.
  • Complete payroll on assigned shift.
  • Monitor proper security procedures of all alcohol in F&B outlets.
  • Hold subordinates accountable for established performance expectations.
  • Motivate staff; provide advice and guidance as appropriate.
  • Interview, select, hire, and retain superior employees.
  • Coaches and counsels subordinate employees.
  • Oversee and ensure the timely completion of employee evaluations.
  • Conduct training with subordinates, both formally and informally.
  • Issue discipline and terminate employees as appropriate.
  • Complete timely evaluations for subordinates.
  • Reward and recognize superior performers.
  • Ensure employees work safely and follow all safety rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Assist in other F&B outlets as directed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • 2 years high‑volume beverage operation experience preferred.
  • Must be ABC certified at time of hire.
  • Must possess good math skills.
  • Must possess computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must possess good customer service and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations.
  • Must present an overall professional appearance.
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as scheduled.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check and receive a license from the DE Lottery.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Target Starting Hourly Rate: $17.50/hr
