WhatYou'll Do in Your Role
Learn and build proficiency in customer service while concurrently providing a best‑in‑class customer experience and building loyalty. Your responsibilities include:
- Helping customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care or in‑store.
- Exploring individual needs and providing hands‑on demonstrations of the latest technology in‑store.
- Side‑by‑side selling to find personalized solutions beyond the bare‑bones device and service plan, including accessories and IoT devices.
- Guiding customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers, and shared expertise.
Approach service and sales needs with patience, honesty, and empathy.
Digital Tools ProficiencyBecome proficient in using digital tools to enhance interactions and onboarding, actively demonstrating:
- Coverage comparisons in customers’ neighborhoods, highlighting our fast LTE network.
- Plans and services that enable unlimited data, connectivity, and freedom.
- Device and account inspection, review, and troubleshooting.
Complete training on in‑store experiences, new skills and processes, systems knowledge, and reference resources.
Build relationships and partner with employees across channels, including business and customer service to:
- Collectively own the customer experience and resolve issues for a seamless environment.
- Identify and hand‑off small business leads.
- Develop strong peer relationships and accountability for company success.
- Enjoy a positive work environment while delivering first‑class customer experience.
- A strong desire to learn and master customer advocacy skills and build meaningful connections.
- Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment.
- Willingness to collaborate with peers and leaders, sharing best practices and resolving issues.
- Effective at balancing customer experience and performance goals.
- At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience (retail preferred).
