Oracle’s Hospitality Global Business Unit is seeking a high‑performing Application Sales Representative to drive new business and expansion for Oracle Hospitality’s OPERA Cloud Property Management and MICROS Simphony Point‑of‑Sale solutions within the independent hotel market across the Mid‑Atlantic region. This is an outside sales role owning the full sales cycle for net‑new and existing accounts.

- OPERA Cloud PMS: A modern, cloud‑native platform that unifies reservations, front office, loyalty, sales and catering, and operations to elevate guest experience and drive profitability.
- MICROS Simphony POS: A scalable, cloud‑based restaurant and bar management solution purpose‑built for hotels and resorts to streamline F&B operations and improve margins.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed quota by selling OPERA Cloud PMS and Simphony POS to independent hotels across a defined Mid‑Atlantic territory, with a focus on Tier 3 accounts.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline via proactive prospecting, partner collaboration, and targeted campaigns; drive opportunities to close.
- Lead the full sales cycle: discovery, solution mapping, value articulation, business case/ROI, pricing, negotiation, and close in alignment with Oracle policies.
- Develop territory and account plans, including forecasting, resource alignment, and executive engagement.
- Understand customer business initiatives, operational challenges, and guest experience goals; translate them into Oracle solution value.
- Deliver tailored presentations, demos, and proposals for business and technical stakeholders.
- Establish credibility with C‑level and functional leaders; build long‑term relationships and references.
- Collaborate with solution engineering, consulting, customer success, legal, and partners to ensure successful outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- MUST have proven experience selling technology solutions in the Hospitality space (hotel/PMS/POS/restaurant tech), with consistent quota attainment.
- 5+ years of B2B field sales in software/SaaS or hospitality technology, selling to hotel owners, GMs, operations, and IT stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success building pipeline and closing net‑new business within a defined territory.
- Strong consultative selling skills: discovery, value‑based selling, ROI/TCO, negotiation, and multithreaded deal execution.
- Excellent communication with both business and technical audiences, including C‑level.
- Proficiency with CRM, forecasting, and sales planning tools.
- Willingness to travel within the Mid‑Atlantic region, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience selling OPERA Cloud PMS and/or Simphony POS (or comparable PMS/POS solutions) to independent hotels.
- Working knowledge of hotel operations (front office, housekeeping, revenue management, F&B) and hospitality KPIs.
- Experience with channel/partners in the hospitality ecosystem.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $90,000 to $185,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55 - 50/50.
