Schedule: Monday - Friday / 7:30am-4:30pm
Magnum Electronics is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving and Inventory Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient receiving of goods, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting the overall shipping & receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving:
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Compare shipment contents with purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices.
- Document discrepancies and resolve any issues with suppliers or vendors.
- Ensure that all products are safely and properly stored.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain and organize inventory to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with periodic audits.
- Utilize software to track stock movements and update inventory records.
- Shipping Support:
- Assist with picking and packing orders as needed.
- Prepare goods for shipment and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
- Keep the receiving and inventory areas clean and organized.
- Assist with unloading and restocking inventory in designated areas.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide feedback and recommend improvements to inventory and receiving processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, inventory, or receiving role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
