KBW Financial Staffing is working with a client in the seacoast area looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. This is a permanent position paying between $65,000 and $75,000 depending on experience.
This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional with fund accounting or grant billing experience looking to join a mission-driven nonprofit organization.
The Responsibilities For This Role Will Include- Prepare account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger records
- Assist with financial reporting and budget management
- Support grant accounting, program billing, and federal award invoicing
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance
- 2-5 years of accounting experience
- Fund accounting or federal award invoicing experience preferred
- Strong Excel and attention to detail
Compensation: $65,000 to $75,000 DOE
