The CADD Drafter is responsible for assisting in the design and drafting of coastal/civil engineering projects from conception to completion. You will apply your experience in site layout, grading, road design, utility design and profiles, coastal structure design, concepts, permitting, erosion and sediment control and regulatory permitting. You will be responsible for the production of civil engineering construction documents while adhering to client requirements, regulatory requirements, and site adjustments.
EssentialDuties
- Drafting support of the engineering staff
- Prepare plan sets
- Detail drafting
- City/state regulations & zoning review
- Generate road layouts
- Drainage design
- Subdivision
- Maintaining strict CAD standards
- Willing to learn grading & drainage design
- Willing to adapt to internal drafting standards
- Survey & field crew work as needed
- General administrative support
- Organizing and maintaining project files
- Experience:
0-3 years of CAD drafting - Education:
Related education a plus - Software:
AutoCAD or equivalent required;
Carlson Software and other design software a plus
