Minimum of 3 years NICU experience required. NANT certification preferred. Position will be part of a multi-disciplinary NICU feeding team, must be able to perform video fluoroscopic swallow evaluations and assist with NICU SLP program development.
Essential Functions- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Implement treatment plans through a variety of techniques and modalities.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders, and provide strategies for improving communication.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Master's Degree in Speech Therapy required.
Licenses and CredentialsSpeech-language Pathologist [State License] - Generic - HR Only required
Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) - American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS Certification) - various issuers preferred
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) - American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred
ExperienceSpeech pathology experience 0-1 year preferred. Acute hospital experience 0-1 year preferred.

- Familiarity with diagnostic assessments for speech and language.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to incorporate new clinical procedures and perform clinical services independently.
- Ability to perform functions associated with contemporary audiology and speech-language pathology scope of practice.
