Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Litigation Legal Assistant for a well‑established, full‑service law firm with a strong reputation for excellence, collaboration, and community involvement. This is an onsite role based in downtown Dover, New New Hampshire

This role supports attorneys within a busy Business Law practice, contributing to the smooth management of client matters from file opening through case progression. The Legal Assistant will play a hands‑on role in document preparation, case organization, client communication, and deadline management. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑oriented professional who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being an integral part of a collaborative legal team.

- Open, organize, and close client files in both electronic and paper formats
- Coordinate conflict checks, prepare engagement letters, and maintain accurate case documentation
- Assist attorneys with preparing, organizing, and managing legal documents and correspondence
- Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and case timelines with accuracy and attention to detail
- Communicate directly with clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals as needed
- Provide general administrative and case support as assigned
- Experience supporting attorneys in a law firm environment
- Working knowledge of legal procedures, filings, deadlines, and court rules
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; experience with Filevine or LMS is a plus
This position offers an annual salary of $26‑$30/hr
