Per Diem RN Radiation Oncology

Assessment and care of patients in Radiation Oncology at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. The RN supports the care team, including Radiation Providers and Therapists.

• Assess patients.

• Education:
  
  Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licenses:
  Registered Nurse (State License) required.
• Certificates:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) required;
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred;
  Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) preferred;
  Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Clinical nursing experience 0–1 year required.
• Skills:
  
  Familiarity with practical nursing principles; knowledge of care for different age groups; maintain confidentiality; knowledge of medical terminology; excellent communication; accurate screening and triage of acute patients.
