American Traveler is hiring a Pediatrics RN for a Nights position in a combined NICU/Women & Children's Unit requiring 2 years of inpatient pediatric experience and BLS/PALS certification.

• Work in a Women & Children's Unit with 16 LDRP rooms, 6 NICU rooms, and 4 pediatric rooms
• Care for patients 0-17 years of age
• Patient conditions may include respiratory support (NC, HFNC), general surgery, limited orthopedics, diabetes, general medical diagnoses, and limited-volume outpatient infusions
• Patient assignments are 3-4:1 depending on acuity
• Core staffing includes 6 RNs and 2 LNAs per shift
• Medical oversight provided by Pediatric Hospitalists who also cover the Emergency Department
• Uses EPIC EMR and Plum IV pumps
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment
• Rare possibility of house-wide floating for 1:1 coverage only
• May float to NICU to cover Eat, Sleep, Console or feeder/grower assignments based on competence and comfort level

• Active RN license (NH or Compact)
• Current BLS and PALS certification
• 2 years of inpatient pediatric experience required
• Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start date
• NH-based facility requires NH Criminal Background check and NH BEAS record check
• Respirator FIT test required, preferably completed prior to start
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients across a range of medical and surgical diagnoses
• Staff trained to work across both NICU and pediatrics
• Hospital-issued scrubs provided
• Charting completed in EPIC
• Local candidates may be considered with reduced rate if residing within 60 miles of Boston
