Technical Lead, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

We are hiring a Technical Lead, Weaving to provide hands-on technical expertise and leadership for weaving machines and related yarn-preparation equipment. This role combines troubleshooting, repair, and routine maintenance with process improvement, documentation, and mentoring of loom mechanics. The Technical Lead is expected to work safely, follow established Standard Operating Procedures, and help standardize weave-room processes so equipment runs reliably and the team builds capability.

Job Objective Safely perform troubleshooting, diagnostic analysis, repair, and routine maintenance of production equipment following established Standard Operating Procedures. Provide technical expertise and leadership in implementing mechanical and improvement initiatives for weaving machines, including normal operation, installation, troubleshooting, modification, re-design, maintenance, and the training and mentoring of loom mechanics. Maintain and/or coordinate updates to product and process documentation to standardize all weave-room processes.

Essential Job Functions
• Safely troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on production equipment in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provide technical leadership for mechanical and improvement initiatives on weaving machines, covering normal operation, installation, troubleshooting, modification, re-design, and maintenance.
• Train and mentor loom mechanics so repairs, setups, and improvements are done consistently and correctly.
• Maintain and/or coordinate updates to product and process documentation to standardize weave-room processes.
• Ensure setup of all filament and monofilament yarn-preparation equipment is completed to the control plan, style cards, and setup sheets.
