Health & Safety Responsibilities
  • Expected to assist in the implementation of Alcoa/Howmet’s EHS value and policy statement and its accompanying principles.

Job Responsibilities
  • Determine root cause of deviations from critical process specifications to resolve braze‑related issues.
  • Educate and train operators about proper procedures and processes, including creating or revising work instructions and training materials. Drive improvement through implementing and maintaining feedback systems.
  • Institute proper monitoring of the Braze department performance to ensure financial targets are met (yields, rework).
  • Foster continuous improvement by utilizing process management, control plans, Cpk monitoring, etc.
  • Act with an innovative spirit, willing to challenge the status quo and seek the implementation of improved processes and new technology, including increased automation.
