Production Worker (Wax Machine Operator - 3rd Shift)

Shift: Midnight Shift (Sunday Night - Thursday Night 10:00p – 6:00a). Training may involve Day shift (6:00a – 2:00p) for several months.

Hourly rate: $23.23 (starting). After 12 months: $25.79 plus shift premium for off‑shift assignments.

Howmet Dover Casting is a world‑class supplier of complex, investment‑cast turbine airfoils and other components for the aircraft engine and industrial gas turbine industries. Through expertise in vacuum‑melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings, and hot isostatic pressing, Howmet enables quieter, more fuel‑efficient aero engines and cleaner power generation.

The wax machine operator injects wax patterns and ensures quality, while maintaining equipment and adhering to EHS standards.

• Operate one or two automatic fixed‑cycle, power injection machines to inject wax or plastic patterns.
• Prepare patterns for inspection by cleaning core print area and identifying pattern.
• Perform visual inspection for quality of injected pattern.
• Deflash solid patterns at press.
• Assist in implementing EHS values, policies, and principles.
• Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report all illnesses, injuries, safety, health and environmental concerns to supervisor.
• Attend all EHS training.
• Interact with engineering, quality and other members in the wax departments.

• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Standing up to 8 hours.
