JOB DESCRIPTION

Howmet Dover Casting is a world‑class supplier of complex, investment‑cast turbine airfoils and other components for the aircraft engine and industrial gas turbine industries. Howmet Dover Alloy supplies vacuum and air‑melted nickel‑ and cobalt‑based superalloys to aerospace, gas turbine, medical and other high‑technology industrial markets.

Howmet Aerospace is currently looking for a Foundry Worker to join our Howmet Casting facility in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this Midnight Shift position are Sunday night – Thursday night 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM
. New hire hourly rate: $21.58
; after 12 months: $23.92
. The position will receive an hourly shift premium while assigned to an off‑shift.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for de‑platting, de‑waxing, and inspection/wrapping of molds for casting in the Equiax and DS Foundry.

ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in implementation of Arconic’s EHS value and policy statement and its accompanying principles.
• Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EH&S regulations.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Report all job‑related illnesses and injuries (per employee handbook).
• Report all safety, health & environmental concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Attend all EH&S training.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS – EQUIAx / DS FOUNDRY

• Remove molds from output dry tunnels, remove hardware and record mold weights.
• Load and unload autoclave & continuous dewax oven.
• Perform core reclaim operation when required in Equiax Foundry.
• Mold wash/inspection, mold wrap and boroscope operation.
• Operate attendant equipment.
• Transport materials and molds as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Clean and prepare hardware for wax assembly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of molds processed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / EQUIPMENT USED

• Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification required a sponsorship not available.

• No relocation benefit; only candidates within 50 miles of Dover, NJ will be considered.
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to read, interpret, follow instructions, and speak/writing English.
