Howmet Dover Alloy is a world‑class supplier of vacuum and air‑melted nickel‑and‑cobalt‑based superalloys to aerospace, gas turbine, medical and other high‑technology industrial markets.

Howmet Aerospace is currently looking for a Wax Team Workcell to join our Howmet Casting located in Dover, New Jersey.

The work hours for this Midnight position are Sunday Night - Thursday Night 10:30PM-6:30AM. Training on Day Shift M‑F 6:30A - 2:30P.

New Hire Starting Hourly Rate: $23.42
;
After 12 Months: $26.05

Position will receive an hourly "shift premium" while assigned to an off‑shift.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This job assists in the set up and creation of wax molds.

ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Expected to assist in the implementation of EHS Values and policy statements and accompanying principals.
• Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report all job related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook).
• Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
• Attend all EHS training.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Have the ability to adapt and perform various manufacturing tasks to support schedules.
  
  Duties include:
  
  Wax Injection, Wax Inspection, Wax Setup (assembly), Core Prep, and use of Aussie Bds.
• Job can include variety of assignments.
• Other duties as might be assigned by supervision.
• Performs cell support duties.
• Must successfully pass wax cell training program and vision testing requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• This position entails access to export‑controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Candidates residing within a 50 miles radius of Dover NJ will only be considered.
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to perform highly detailed and highly repetitive work.
• Manual dexterity.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/EQUIPMENT USED

• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent standing and sitting.
