Full Time Non Ferrous Scale Operator in Dover, NJ

CM Metals NJ is a growing scrap metal recycling business serving the NJ/NY/Metropolitan region. We are currently looking for a hard working, motivated individual to fill a non ferrous scale operator/laborer position at our Dover, NJ yard. The position is for scale operator in our non ferrous department.

• Handling/Processing/Packaging copper/brass/aluminum/stainless materials
• Sorting mixed scrap metal loads
• Identification and grading of all scrap metals
• Weighing and making tickets for customers
• Work Indoors/Outdoors regardless of weather
• Good communication skills to interact with general public
• Helping to manage inventory
• Some heavy lifting is involved
• Cross training between ferrous and non ferrous departments
• Training for required forklift use
• Full PPE provided
• Bilingual(English/Spanish) a plus
