The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. Also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. The RN is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients, communicates with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology, and responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Qualifications- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintenance.
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire; retained preferred.
- Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator management experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Saint Clare’s Health offers competitive compensation and a reasonable estimate for this role is $51.00. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selection, based on skill set, experience, education, credentials and licensure.
