- Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Inpatient Renal Care Unit.
- Be directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients.
- Communicate with physicians about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained.
- Maintains acquired knowledge and remains current in advancements in nephrology, especially inpatient.
- Certification in Nephrology Nursing, Apheresis Nursing, or both is highly encouraged.
- Two years experience in acute care hemodialysis nursing.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $46.00 to $59.67.
The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skill set, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
