• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Inpatient Renal Care Unit.
• Be directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained.
• Maintains acquired knowledge and remains current in advancements in nephrology, especially inpatient.
• Certification in Nephrology Nursing, Apheresis Nursing, or both is highly encouraged.
• Two years experience in acute care hemodialysis nursing.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $46.00 to $59.67.

The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skill set, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
