• Performs all the duties of a Repairman “B” and “C” with normal guidance and supervision
• Service all road calls
• Perform major and minor inspections with normal guidance and supervision including the recording of results and taking corrective action when appropriate to ensure a safe and mechanically sound bus
• Perform D.O.T. inspections and complete necessary forms
• Perform engine tune‑ups, repairs, and replace powertrain components as required
• Diagnose and repair heating or air conditioning units using EPA‑mandated equipment and procedures
• Remove, replace, and/or align all body parts and components fastened on the bus; perform all body alignment, repair, and component replacement as required
• Diagnose and repair wheelchair lifts
• Service, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair bus electrical systems normally performed by a repairman prior to this agreement
• Service, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair pneumatic (air) and hydraulic systems
• Perform all other duties as required by garage management

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a high school diploma or GED; ASE certification a plus
• Possess a CDL license with passenger endorsement OR a valid NY/PA CDL with passenger endorsement
• Be able to pass the pre‑employment physical and background checks
• Have a good driving record with less than five (5) points
• Working hours can vary; scheduling flexibility required as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement
