Job Description
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) to educate patients and families at Dover Dialysis in Dover, OH and Apple Valley Dialysis in Mt. Vernon, OH.
  • Travel between two clinics during the work week.
  • Full‑time schedule, Monday to Friday, 36‑40 hours per week.
  • Perform nutrition assessments, review lab work, and provide dietary counseling to improve renal outcomes.
  • Attend patient rounds with nephrologists and complete charting and protocol dose adjustments on non‑patient days.
  • Participate in team meetings, home patient clinics, and serve as a key member of the core care team.
Responsibilities
  • Travel between Dover Dialysis and Apple Valley Dialysis clinics.
  • Review monthly lab work and educate patients on dietary and medication changes.
  • Conduct nutrition assessments and support clinical decision‑making.
  • Complete charting, protocol dose adjustments, and documentation on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Attend core team meetings and home patient clinics, primarily on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Collaborate with nephrology staff and provide patient education in an outpatient setting.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Clinical Dietitian with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Must hold a current RD license in the state where you apply.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Functional proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and institution‑specific applications within 60 days of hire.
  • Completion of the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80%.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, travel between facilities, and adapt to different patient loads.
