X-Ray Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our Radiology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.

• Perform a variety of X-ray examinations and assist with imaging procedures as required.
• Prepare and position patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate X-ray equipment and maintain quality control standards for imaging.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient records and images.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols in the use of radiation and X-ray equipment.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in the field.

• Registered Radiologic Technologist certification is required.
• Current state licensure for radiologic technology.
• Experience in performing X-ray procedures and operating imaging equipment is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This position involves 3 x 12-hour shifts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with a day shift schedule from 08:00 to 20:30.
