Quality Inspector – Meteor Sealing Systems LLC

We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team at Meteor Sealing Systems LLC, a leading provider of automotive sealing systems. This position will support daily quality activities and processes in relation to production and scheduling requirements, helping to maintain high standards of quality for our customers.

Base pay: $16.00/hr – $16.00/hr

• 2nd Shift (3pm – 11pm)
• 3rd Shift (11pm – 7am)
• Overtime and weekends as needed

• Manage Statistical Process Controls (SPC) for extrusion and finishing departments.
• Perform physical testing on parts and raw materials; update and create test procedures and software.
• Assist with process control plans, flow diagrams, and FMEA using IQRM software; handle supplier evaluations and complaints.
• Read and interpret material specifications; prepare certificates of conformance and maintain documentation of projects, inspections, and tests.
• Conduct capability studies, MSA, and monitor all in‑house quality processes.
• Assist Quality Team Leaders when necessary.
• Oversee Laboratory Scope, External Lab Management, In‑Process Testing, Supplier Management, Supplier Development, PPAP, APQP, IMDS submissions, and short‑notice customer support.
• Must read and write in English.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of process flow in lean manufacturing.
• Consistent ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal, non‑verbal, negotiation, and written communication skills.
• Professionalism when interacting with internal and external customers.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Experience with IATF‑16949 and ISO‑9001 preferred.

Exposure to moderate noise levels is probable.
