Senior Accountant

Working with one of my favorite clients- a publicly traded, global manufacturing company to fill a Senior Accountant role. Specific Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant Include

• Assist with the close and consolidation process and preparation of financial statements, including analysis of results, resolution of differences and communication of unexpected or unusual variances
• Work closely with multiple departments and accounting and finance team members
• Assist with the internal reporting function related to the monthly management reporting package and other GAAP and non-GAAP metrics
• Interface with external auditors for annual audits, including preparation of financial statements, schedules and documentation
• Month end close duties: journal entries, account reconciliations, stock based compensation

Preferred Qualifications Of The Senior Accountant

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Public accounting or public company experience preferred
• Experience with consolidations
• CPA or CPA tracking
• Experience working with large multinational companies, whether in corporate or public accounting
• B.S. in Accounting
