Senior Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA or CPA Candidate
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in high-growth retail or healthcare environments.
• Experience with multi-entity and/or consolidated financial statements.
• Strong general ledger management and cost allocation experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards (ASC 842, ASC 810, ASC 360, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., Net Suite, Oracle, SAP, Great Plains, or similar).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, nested formulas, pivot tables, advanced charting, Power Pivot).
• Experience with accounting and reporting tools such as Trintech, GTreasury, Workiva, BI360, or similar.
• Experience with SOX compliance programs and documentation.
• Experience preparing financial analyses and presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment with competing priorities.

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, intercompany eliminations, and account reconciliations across multiple entities. Ensure accurate and timely month-end close procedures.
• Prepare financial statements, related footnotes, disclosures, and supporting analysis for the reporting group.

• Partner with FP&A, legal, and operations teams to support business initiatives and ensure proper accounting alignment.

• Support ERP system upgrades, business initiative financial analysis, training, and the creation or maintenance of standard operating procedures.

• Coordinate with external auditors by providing schedules, documentation, and audit support during interim and annual audits.

• Research and interpret complex accounting issues and new standards, including ASC 842, ASC 360, ASC 810, ASC 606, ASC 470, and related pronouncements.
