Downers Grove, IL – Hybrid/Remote Option Available

Base Salary between $100,000 — $120,000 + Commission

Job Overview

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our passionate team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of connecting businesses with Plego’s transformative technology solutions. If you’re a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative and innovative environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and engage prospective clients through research, outreach, and relationship-building.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Understand client needs and effectively communicate Plego’s value proposition.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients to discuss tailored technology solutions.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation and conversion.
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline development, and key performance metrics.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the technology or consulting sector.
  • Strong understanding of software development and IT solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales automation platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Base Salary between $100,000 — $120,000 + Commission
