Global Gear & Machining seeks a Process Engineer to support the GGM family, we are a gear manufacturer located in Downers Grove, IL. with easy access off of 355 expressway. - CAD is required for this role
- Understand and digest standards and specifications
- Create work instructions for the associates to understand
- Read and follow customers' demands on product standards
- Write process details as needed
- Provide support on first-piece parts
- Support shop floor associates on processes and guidelines required to meet customers' specifications.
- Work with our gauge and tooling team to provide needed tools for the task
- Work with the Quality team to assure we are meeting customers' requirements
- Must be able to work independently
- IATF and Epicor experience is a plus
- 3 to 5 Years Process Engineer is required
- Turning experience would be a plus
